How To Start A Poll Worker Project – Apr 20
Posted by Andrew Goodman Foundation on April 20, 2021
Join us this Tuesday, April 20 from 12-1pm ET for an Andrew Goodman Puffin Democracy Fellow Workshop to learn how YOU can start a poll worker project to recruit and train poll workers! Due to the ongoing pandemic and a rise in voter suppression, the need for poll workers is now more essential than ever (especially for local elections this year!)
Evan Wayne Malbrough, an Andrew Goodman Puffin Democracy Fellow and the Founder of the Georgia Youth Poll Worker Project, will discuss the need for diverse young poll workers to make our democracy more equitable and inclusive, how he launched the Georgia Youth Poll Worker Project, and how you can launch your own.
