How to do a ServiceWorks bootcamp for MLK Day
Posted by Corporation for National and Community Service on October 9, 2017
Although we are barely into fall, it is time to start planning for your 2018 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. As you consider your service activity, we hope you will implement projects that advance the well-being of your community, especially those that help young people stay on track for school and career.
On Thursday, October 12, CNCS and Points of Light will host a webinar on how to do a ServiceWorks bootcamp as a day of service project. ServiceWorks bootcamps are one day events that engage community volunteers and youth to develop workplace and interpersonal skills. At the end of the session, participants work together on a service project.
Learn about how to implement a bootcamp! We hope you can join us for the webinar listed below and that you will find it useful as you develop you King Day of Service project.
