Hosting Student Interns This Summer – May 19

The Nonprofit Center and La Salle University are excited to partner with the Philadelphia Youth Network (PYN) and the Office of State Senator Art Haywood to bring the Work Ready VIP Program to Northwest Philadelphia this summer. We’re offering organizations the opportunity to host high school student interns at no cost to the organization!
Program Details:
- Who: High school juniors and seniors
- When: Late June to early August
- Hours: 20 hours/week for 6 weeks (120 total hours)
- Cost: FREE – Students are paid by PYN, directly
Students will come prepared, having completed 30 hours of professional training, including:
Positive Action Training
- Responsibility management
- Respectful workplace behavior
- Ongoing skill development
Career Development Training
- Career exploration and goal setting
- Financial and digital literacy
- Resume and cover letter writing
