Join Dr. Cat McManus for an overview of her recent mixed-methods research exploring partnerships between higher education institutions and college access nonprofits. How common are these relationships and how do institutions understand them and use them to achieve particular goals, including and in addition to improving college access for diverse students? What motivates institutions to engage in and sustain relationships? As more and more college access and success organizations seek out higher education institutions as partners in fulfilling their critical missions, what factors are most likely to make those partnerships fruitful for all parties, especially students?.
