Groundwater Foundation Awards

Awards Program Background
The Groundwater Foundation was begun in 1985 for the purpose of educating the public about the nature and value of groundwater in order to create motivated citizens caring about and for groundwater. This educational focus has remained unchanged throughout the growth and development of its programs. Groundwater Foundation organizers believe that factually informed citizens are more likely to make responsible and responsive decisions, and become involved in conservation and protection activities. Towards this objective, the Foundation presents sound scientific and technologically current information to large and diverse audiences in engaging and user-friendly formats.
