“Global Educator Award and Peace Educator Award”
Do you know of an educator who is doing outstanding work in global education or peace education? Are you that educator? The National Peace Corps Association?s Global TeachNet Program seeks nominations for two types of awards for K-12 school-based educators: Global Educator Awards and Peace Educator Awards. They encourage nominations by all interested parties, including parents, students, administrators, and community members and also accept self-nominations. Global Educator and Peace Educator Award winners will receive a $500 monetary award and national recognition. Their global and peace education lesson plans will be featured in the Global TeachNet website and newsletter.
Nomination deadline: October 20, 2003.
