The Gang Resistance and Education Training (G.R.E.A.T.) Program’s primary objective is to prevent delinquency, youth violence, and gang membership. G.R.E.A.T. lessons provide life skills to students to help them avoid engaging in delinquent behavior and violence to solve problems. Maximum award: varies. Eligibility: for-profit organizations, nonprofit organizations, faith-based and community organizations, federally recognized Indian tribal governments, institutions of higher education, and consortiums with demonstrated experience in providing logistical support to large-scale national initiatives. Deadline: April 22, 2010.
