William Penn Foundation Requests for Proposals Now Available

Posted by William Penn Foundation on September 15, 2026

The William Penn Foundation is pleased to share that 10 Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are now available. If you have a project that addresses an RFP, we hope you will submit a proposal for funding. Our intent is for the RFPs to make the process for applying for a grant more open to all, and we hope to hear from a broad range of organizations, including those we’ve never worked with before.

Funding Opportunities Include:

  • Arts and Culture – Art and Culture Programming, Arts Education Programming (Out-of-School Community-based), Arts and Culture Capital Support
  • Children and Families – Caregiver Supports, Mental and Behavioral Health Services
  • Democracy and Civic Initiatives – Responsive Local Government
  • Environment and Public Space – Climate Resilience Plans, Reduce Illegal Dumping, Urban Gardens, Urban trees

View all RFPs.

For each of these RFPs we will host an optional informational webinar covering details including eligibility, process, and timeline, with time for grant seekers to ask questions of our team. Attendance at webinars has no impact on your ability to apply or be considered for funding, and all webinars will be recorded and posted to our website within two business days. We hope you will join us to learn more!
