Fund Raising Fellowship for Community Based Organizations – Feb 24 or 26
Posted by Securing the Roots on February 23, 2021
Apply for a 2021 Securing the Roots Cohort
The U.S. public sector suffers from deep structural racism. Historically, wealth, land, and power have been taken away from and made systematically inaccessible to Black and Indigenous people. Leaders and organizations of color in the U.S. endure significant barriers to access and secure funding for work in their communities.
We look forward to receiving applications from people who are interested in learning how to connect their critical community work with resources they need. Through Securing the Roots, we ask what would be possible if barriers to our community’s health, wellness, and financial security did not exist? What would be possible if we could navigate around or through these barriers? What would our communities look like if we all have what we need?
Learn more about the fellowship here. The deadline to submit an online application is March 19th.
Securing the Roots is hosting 2 zoom info sessions on February 24 and 26, where potential applicants can learn and ask questions about the 2021 fellowships.
