Fuel Up to Play 60 Invites Applications for K-12 Healthy Food Programs

Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by the National Dairy Council and National Football League, in collaboration with the United States Drug Administration, to help encourage youth to lead healthier lives.

Through the program, grants of up to $4,000 per year will be awarded to qualified K-12 schools enrolled in the program to jumpstart healthy changes. Examples of projects supported by the program include projects to increase in-school breakfast participation, farm-to-school projects that teach about the benefits of eating fresh dairy and farm-raised foods from your area, cafeteria makeovers, and healthy snack programs.

To be eligible, schools must enroll in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program, have a registered program advisor, and participate in the National School Lunch Program.

For complete program guidelines, more project ideas, and application instructions, see the Fuel Up to Play 60 website.

DEADLINE: JUNE 14, 2017
