The Community Learning Network at Temple University invites you to our winter faculty conference:
“From Experience to Engagement: A Vision of the Community-Engaged Campus” on Friday, February 11th, from 9:30-4, at Temple University’s Alter Hall, 7th floor.
Our keynote speaker, Dr. Dan Butin, founding Dean of Education at Merrimack College and author of Service Learning in Theory and Practice (2010) is a leader in this burgeoning field. He will set the stage for a day of interactive dialogue around the theory and practice of community-based learning. Breakout sessions will explore critical questions around community-based learning with faculty members from a variety of disciplines.
