Are you interested in learning how to code? Want to create your very own website? Would you like to launch a career in technology? Look no further!
Philadelphia Academies, Inc. (PAI) is launching a our 2nd cohort Afterschool Program focused on the Technology Field specifically for in-school 11th & 12th grade students that reside in West Philadelphia or the surrounding zip codes. This Program offers job readiness experiences, career exposure in (software development, design and entrepreneurial industry) and professional development to successfully launch a career in tech through apprenticeships, employment opportunities, and/or post-secondary education.
In addition, students will have the opportunity to earn performance and attendance based monetary incentives for full participation in this program.
We are actively recruiting 15 high school juniors and 15 high school seniors to be a part of this afterschool program. We would greatly appreciate if you could share the flyer with people in your network and spread the word about this tech opportunity with students or parents you may know.
Applications are due by September 23, 2022 at 11:59 pm EST, but are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis. Participants will be notified of their application status within a week of submission. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
