Forum on Children and Families (Virtual and in-Person): Taking Action for Family Prosperity – Apr 11-12
Posted by Aspen Institute on April 11, 2023
This free two-day public convening will delve into what it takes to move the needle for families with low incomes. We will focus on bold, equitable, and pragmatic strategies for building prosperity and well-being for all families. Now is the time to think big. 2023 represents a new chapter for many Americans – emerging from a pandemic ready to embrace seismic shifts in how we live, learn and work in ways that heal and nourish our families and communities.
This convening will bring together leaders – policymakers, philanthropists, practitioners, researchers, direct service providers and advocates –interested in learning what two-generation (2Gen) approaches for children and the adults in their lives have accomplished, why and how these approaches accelerated so quickly, and what different sectors can do to further whole-family well-being at a time when we are witnessing new and unprecedented energy and enthusiasm to create a more equitable future.
