Field Teen Center at the Free Library
Posted by Free Library of Philadelphia on August 6, 2024
Did you know there is an entire department dedicated to teens at Parkway Central Library? The Field Teen Center is a fun and safe hangout space where teens can be themselves and make new friends. With over 7,000 young adult titles, free self-care supplies, karaoke, and crafts, teens can always find something exciting to do after school!
The Field Teen Center is a dedicated library space for youth ages 12 to 18. We provide library services to teens including in-person and virtual programs, reference, and research support. Our collection of Young Adult fiction, comics, graphic novels, manga, and non-fiction is open to all for browsing and borrowing.
Field Teen Center librarians support Philadelphia students and educators by offering virtual class visits, including instruction on using Free Library databases for academic research customized to class projects. We encourage educators to email TeenCenter@FreeLibrary.org or call us at 215-686-5395 with any questions, suggestions, or to schedule a class visit.
