Family engagement in afterschool discussed
According to the Harvard Family Research Project, “families are essential partners in successful out-of-school-time programs and play many important roles: consumers, advocates, allies and volunteers.”
The Pennsylvania Statewide After School/Youth Development Network will offer a webinar, Family Engagement in Afterschool, on June 13th from 10:30am to noon to help participants learn why family engagement is important and how to make it happen.
