FAB YOUTH PHILLY IS PAYING teens to get their lifeguard certification – Feb 20

We are SO excited to share this new afterschool job opportunity we are piloting in partnership with Drexel University Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships and Philadelphia Parks & Recreation to PAY TEENS TO GET THEIR LIFEGUARD CERTIFICATION.
Some of the important details:
Who: 15-19 years old (MUST BE 16 y/o by June 1, 2023)
When: Saturdays, starting March 4-June 3rd
What time: 4-6pm
Where: Drexel University
Pay rate $12 hr (with ability to earn $16 hr starting this summer)
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A SWIMMING TEST TO ENROLL.
Application Deadline: February 20, 2023
We will provide swimsuits, bathing caps, slides and more. Teens will also get support with resume writing, LinkedIn profiles and apply and interviewing for a lifeguard job.
