The US DHHS/OCS has released an opportunity for grants of up to $50,000 for EITC outreach and financial literacy. The grants are only available to local or state CSBG (Community Service Block Grant) agencies which are usually community action agencies such as the IL Community Action Association. The proposal requires collaborations with groups that have EITC background and history in doing tax returns. If interested, please click here.
