CORE Philly scholarships available
The CORE Philly scholarship has reopened during the summer for 2008.
CORE Philly offers scholarships of up to $3,000 to Philadelphia high school seniors to help pay first-year college expenses (including living expenses and books).
To be eligible, applicants must be a 2008 graduate of a School District of Philadelphia public, charter, archdiocese, or private high school and a resident of the City of Philadelphia.
In addition, applicants must be planning to attend Community College of Philadelphia, a PA State System of Higher Education University, a PA state-related university or college or the University of Pennsylvania.
