Constance E. Clayton Urban Education Leadership Award – Mar 15

The Constance E. Clayton Urban Education Leadership Award, established by Temple University’s College of Education and Human Development (CEHD), recognizes excellence and innovation in urban education and leadership. In the spirit of Dr. Constance E. Clayton, the School District of Philadelphia’s first African American woman to lead the district, the winner will be a trailblazer, a change agent in urban education, and someone who upholds the values of advocacy, service, and mentorship.
One award will be available each year, and the winner will receive acknowledgment during the Temple CEHD reception held at the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA).
Eligibility: Open to educators, scholars, and educational leaders.
