COMMUNITY PLACEMENT COORDINATOR/PROGRAM ASSISTANT, Eugene M. Lang Center for Civic & Social Responsibility. (100% FTE, 12-month, regular. Min. $14.35/hour). Coordinate student community placement programs, including Summer of Service; and will be the Center’s staff advisor to CIVIC, the student-led community service program. Provide program and administrative support to the Director of Partnerships for Community Based Learning & Service, and will work with all Center staff to articulate the Center’s mission to promote social responsibility and civic engagement by members of the Swarthmore College community. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and 3-5 years administrative experience required, preferably in non-profit with at least one year experience in service to community. Demonstrated commitment to social justice and civic engagement necessary. Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff and community partners required.
