for students: apply for College Access Ambassador Training
Posted by TeenSHARP on August 20, 2018
TeenSHARP-NJ/PA is about to kick off its ninth program year and we would love your helping filling our last few spots.
TeenSHARP prepares low-income, black, and Latino to attend and to thrive at our nation’s top colleges.
With TeenSHARP’s support, students have had the opportunity to study in China, to participate in prestigious programs across the country, and earn scholarships to attend some of the nation’s most selective colleges (University of Pennsylvania, Swarthmore, Emory University, Northeastern, Bowdoin, etc.).
TeenSHARP students receive individualized college prep advising and mentorship while participating in the following programs — College Access Ambassador Training (9th-12th grade students) and College Discovery Program (7th-8th grade students). These programs take place on Saturdays throughout the school year at Rutgers University-Camden.
For more information about TeenSHARP please visit http://www.teensharp.org. Our final deadline for applications is August 27th, 2018.
