Civic Learning Week – Mar 11–15
Posted by Youth Service America on March 5, 2024
The goal of civic learning week, March 11-15, 2024, is to make civic learning a nationwide priority for a stronger democracy. As a member of the Coalition for Service-Learning, we encourage you to support #CivicLearningWeek by participating in online and in-person events, highlighting stories of youth civic engagement, and amplifying messages of support for civic learning, especially those of service-learning. Together we can demonstrate that civic learning needs to be a nationwide priority for sustaining and strengthening our constitutional democracy.
- Thank a student – As leaders of organizations/programs, you can thank students for what they’ve meant for your organizational efforts. This marketing kit can be helpful through your newsletters, social, and other communications.
- Empower students to tell their stories – You can empower students to tell their own stories that week about what your organization/program and/or their own service has meant to them on an issue they care about. Our partners at KQED have this really easy-to-use tool to do that through video, podcast, animation, or other means.
