CIVIC HOLIDAY: 2026 Constitution Day – Sep 17
Posted by National Constitution Center on August 25, 2026
Every year on September 17, the National Constitution Center celebrates Constitution Day—the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. You are invited to experience history in action through engaging programs, hands-on activities, and unforgettable experiences that bring America’s founding story to life.
Throughout the day, you can take part in a lively reading of the Constitution’s Preamble, witness a moving naturalization ceremony, meet Revolutionary-era figures, enjoy hands-on activities and workshops, and more. And of course, there will be constitutional birthday cake!
While admission is free, advanced reservations are strongly encouraged.
