Brighter Futures technology event
Posted by on October 25, 2002
The upcoming Brighter Futures event will have more than 1,000 people attending, and will celebrate the accomplishments of people with mental retardation living in the community. The event will be Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at the Wyndham Franklin Plaza hotel from 8:30-3pm.
This year Brigher Futures wants to expand the technology exhibits to include computer centers from the community in order for people with disabilities and their families to see more possibilities that they could participate in. People involved in this kind of work are sought to join the event by exhibiting some of what they do on the 13th.
There is no fee to exhibit. There is a fee if you wish to join the luncheon in
the hotel.
This event is sponsored by Philadelphia Mental Retardation Services. For more information, visit http://www.MyCityMyPlace.com.
