Penn Policy Center Virtual October Policy Action Call – Oct 22
Posted by Penn Policy Center on October 13, 2026
What would make life more affordable in your community? And how can we work together to shape the decisions that affect it?
Join Penn Policy Center (PPC) for our next nonpartisan Policy Action Call, connecting developments in Harrisburg with the issues Pennsylvanians experience at home, at work, and in their neighborhoods.
We’ll discuss:
- Where things stand in the Pennsylvania General Assembly, including progress and unfinished work.
- Public transit, food access, and health care, with perspectives from community partners.
- Emerging priorities for Pennsylvania’s FY 2027–28 budget, through our For Our Common Wealth affordability framework.
- What matters most to you, with opportunities to share your priorities and help inform our advocacy.
Elections help determine who has the authority to make these decisions. Staying engaged helps communities communicate what they need and hold public officials accountable for what happens next.
Date and Time: October 22, 1:00 PM
