Be a part of MTV’s Choose or Lose

MTV’s Choose or Lose coverage of the 2004 Presidential election campaign is about to kick into gear, aiming to bring 20 Million young voters to the polls in ’04. MTV News will be looking at how issues like a difficult job market, access to health insurance, educational disparities, the costs of higher education, the war on terrorism, civil liberties and environmental concerns – among others – specifically impact the lives of America’s youth.

MTV will air a number of documentary-style shows that aim to tell individual young people’s stories, and they are hoping that you can help them locate people who have been impacted by some of these or related issues in their own lives. Whether they’re people who have faced difficult obstacles in their own lives, or have gotten involved in trying to solve problems faced by their communities, they are hoping to consider the widest range of individuals and stories possible. If you or others in your organization work with young people who have compelling stories, or can suggest others who may be of assistance to them in their search, please feel free to contact Adam Hootnick via phone: 212.846.4263 or email: adam.hootnick@mtvstaff.com
