Assistant Director for Annual Fund and Donor Relations

Episcopal Community Services (ECS), a Philadelphia non-profit social services agency with an annual budget of $9 million, located in Society Hill, is seeking a highly skilled and seasoned development professional to fill its opening for an Assistant Director for Annual Fund and Donor Relations (ADR). The ADR will report to the Director of Development and Communications and will plan, manage and implement all aspects of the agency’s multi-faceted annual giving program. This includes oversight of events, programs and other activities designed to enhance positive relations with donors and diversify individual giving. Department responsibilities include annual fund mail appeals, gift acknowledgement, tracking and analysis, donor research, cultivation and relationship-building, staff supervision, and management of special events.

This position requires a Bachelors degree in relevant discipline. The ideal candidate will possess supervisory experience and a minimum of three (3) years experience in a non-profit, fundraising environment. The ability to work some evenings or weekends is also required. The ADR must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as computer proficiency in Microsoft Windows Office suite.  Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge is highly desired.
