Arts Edication Grants for PTAs

“Reflections Arts Enhancement Grant”
The Mary Lou Anderson Reflections Arts Enhancement Grant bestows up to $1,000 to be used by local PTAs for managing and implementing a program that directly benefits and encourages student participation in the arts. Local PTAs can use the funds to establish or enhance a school arts program in one or more of the following arts areas: visual arts, photography, musical composition (including dance), and literature (including theater). This program, for example, can introduce new materials for art creation; explain and instruct students in new art methods, technologies, or techniques; or promote a visiting artist series. There are a limited number of these matching grants made available every year to local PTAs. Local PTAs must provide funds to match the amount they request.
Application deadline: May 1, 2003.
