The McKinney Center Teaching Fellows Program is an intensive short-term professional development series designed for Philadelphia K-8 public school teachers seeking to grow and deepen the STEM literacy of their students. Four sessions will take place from February – April, and will cover a variety of STEM related topics. The program will include a capstone project and provide professional development, relationships with Philadelphia STEM experts, and Act 48 credits. Participants will receive a stipend as well as assistance implementing capstone projects.
The Orientation dinner will take place on Thursday, February 25 from 5-7 PM. Subsequent meeting dates will be (mutually) determined once participants have been confirmed.
Applications will be accepted through January 22, with decisions by January 29.
