Anti-Racism Amongst the Asian American Pacific Islander Community – June 10
Posted by Strive with Me on June 9, 2020
Join a panel and discussion on Anti-Racism, Privilege, and Fear amongst our community in relations to the Black Lives Matter Movement, June 10, 2020, 6:00-7:30 PM.
We welcome you to a safe space to discuss the injustice happening in America and the role Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Community plays in Black Lives Matter movement.
As part of the AAPI community, we are taught to behave, to be silent, and keep working through the pain, even when we know things just aren’t right. We invite you to break that silence, speak up, and stand up against Anti-racism and stop the reckless killing of human beings – fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters.
Join us for a panel discussion on anti-racism, privilege, and fear amongst the AAPI in relation to the Black Lives Matters movement. We need to take an active role to address our unconscious bias and acknowledge our internalize racism towards Blacks and African Americans.
