Child Care Access Means Parents in School Partnership Grant Competition – May 29

Posted by U.S. Department of Education on April 28, 2026

The Child Care Access Means Parents in School program, the only federal funding for campus-based childcare for low-income student parents, has just been announced for the next grant cycle.

The application window is through May 29, 2026: just under 6 weeks away. You can view the relevant docs here

A webinar from the Administration for Children and Families (the division of Health and Human Services that is now administering the competition) is being hosted on Tuesday, April 28, 2:00-3:30 PM. Information to join can be found here: Child Care Access Means Parents in School Program (84.335A) | U.S. Department of Education

Note that the administration’s proposed budget for next year zero’s out these dollars based on the misinformed rationale that CCAMPIS funds are “duplicative.” Strong engagement from the field to apply for these much needed funds will evidence otherwise!
