Literacy Commission sponsors institute for adult educators
The Mayor’s Commission on Literacy will sponsor its annual Tutor Institute for adult tutors and educators on Saturday, October 25th from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm at the District 1199C Training and Upgrading Fund, 100 S. Broad Street, 10th Floor.
The event will share and explore new and effective tutoring techniques and resources during the conference. Sessions will focus on the tools and skills educators need to ensure adult learners are prepared to earn the GED, learn English as a Second Language, enter into post-secondary education and training programs, and advance into family-sustaining jobs.
