Community Event: Does Voting Even Matter? – Oct 17
Posted by New Pennsylvania Project on October 6, 2026
An invitation to an intergenerational dialogue, with New Pennsylvania Project Leader Kadida Kenner. Come share your concerns about what is going on in the community and in the world, hear stories of earlier struggles, and learn what the power of your vote can do.
Why Should I Go?
- To share your concerns about what’s happening in the community, the country, and the world – getting a job, data center and AI threats, cruelty to immigrants, climate change, the cost of education – and whatever is on your mind.
- To trade stories about struggles and strategies, past and present.
- To hear how registering and voting makes a difference.
This event is free of charge, and open to people of all ages! Lunch and snacks included.
Date and Time: October 17, 11 a.m.—3 p.m.
Location: Lower Merion Baptist Church, 911 New Gulph Road, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010
