Accessibility in the Virtual Classroom: Teaching, Tutoring, and Mentoring College Students with Disabilities
Posted by Temple University on November 17, 2020
Online school is hard enough for most learners! Students with developmental disabilities face increased challenges when learning in the online environment. That’s why we’re hosting a conference for faculty, staff, and families to help support their students through OwlCrowd.
OwlCrowd is Temple’s crowdfunding initiative, modeled after Kickstarter and other popular crowdfunding sites. Projects from students, faculty, or staff at the university in need of funding are featured here and are designed to give donors a way of making gifts that will have the biggest bang for their buck.
Learning online can be tough for those with developmental disabilities. Support continued education for students, their families and teachers as they seek a better online learning experience for all.
