Please join us for the Ethnography Forum this year, February 6-7, 2026, for two days of invigorating conversation at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education.
This year’s theme, #FACTS: Constructing Knowledge and Truth in a Complex World, examines how facts and knowledge are produced, contested, and understood across educational and social contexts, including in classrooms, media, and public discourse in an era of rapid change.
This year, we are excited to announce four distinguished keynote speakers:
- Gabriella Coleman, Ernest E. Monrad Professor of the Social Sciences at Harvard University
- Laurence Ralph, Professor of Anthropology and Public Affairs at Princeton University and founder and co-director of the Center on Transnational Policing
- Kimberly Kay Hoang, Professor of Sociology and the Director of Global Studies at the University of Chicago
- Chenyu Wang, Anthropologist of Education and Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Hamilton College
In addition to keynote addresses, the Forum will feature a range of ethnographic research panels, practitioner inquiry sessions, and interactive discussions.
For Pennsylvania Practitioners, we are excited to offer up to 14 Act 48 hours with no additional cost.
Registration Rates are as follows:
- $50 for Students
- $50 for Practitioners (and ACT 48 Hours!)
- $150 Professional Rate
Additional information, including the program schedule and registration information, may be found on our website.
