2025 Samuel A. Green Scholarship Program – Mar 2

Posted by Green Family Foundation on November 5, 2024

The Green Family Foundation and Firstrust Bank are pleased to present you once again with the Samuel A. Green Scholarship Program! The Scholarship Program was named in loving memory of Firstrust’s Founder and my great-grandfather, Samuel A. Green, who believed in the power of higher education and the right of all young people to pursue it.

In the spirit of his legacy, we are inspired to carry his strong commitment to the youth in our communities. This scholarship honors those students who have demonstrated leadership potential and a commitment to making a substantial impact in the community.

Scholars will receive up to $20,000 in multiyear support towards college. We will distribute a total of $360,000 in awards this year.

High school seniors or rising college freshman may take advantage of this wonderful opportunity by submitting 300 words or less on how they will use their college education to assist them in making a substantial impact in their community. From all entries, our committee will choose the top 100 applicants who will then move onto the semi-finalist round. For this round, applicants will be required to submit a copy of their high school transcript and obtain a letter of reference from someone in their life that can substantiate or attest to their past or current demonstrated leadership.

Please share the details of this scholarship program with a graduating high school senior in the Greater Philadelphia or Lehigh Valley areas that demonstrates leadership potential and a fierce commitment to making a substantial impact in their community. HERE is a flyer about the Program for your reference. Feel free to share broadly.

Encourage interested students to check the eligibility requirements and submit their application online by March 2, 2025 by clicking here.
