2023 Freedom Schools Literacy Academy Summer Virtual Program – Jul 5

Applications are now open for enrollment in the 2023 Freedom Schools Literacy Academy Summer Virtual Program. Available to all current Kindergarteners, first-graders, and second graders.
VIRTUAL PROGRAM DATES: Wednesday, July 5 to Friday, August 4
HALF-DAY VIRTUAL SCHEDULE: Every Weekday, 8:30 am to 10:45 am
The Center for Black Educator Development has opened applications for its 2023 virtual Freedom Schools Literacy Academy. Current K – 2nd grade scholars will receive support and instruction to advance their reading skills and boost academic confidence over the summer.
Our programming is steeped in Black culture, history, pedagogy and deepening the positive racial identity of scholars. In 2022, 83% improved at least one or more reading levels.
Enrollment is FREE but space is extremely limited.
