The Penn Museum is proud to host the our third Kwanzaa Celebration, in partnership with the Center for Africana Studies, on Sunday, December 28th.
EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
- Live performances by Karen Smith Drums, the Universal African Dance and Drum Ensemble, and award-winning artist Raphael Xavier
- A community conversation with Dr. Kelly Harris, Senior Staff Director of the Center for Africana Studies
- Activity Zone with activities for all ages
- Special cafe menu
- Handmade Zawadi gifts (while supplies last)
