The Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance provide leadership and expertise to West Chester University to advance its commitment to the principles of inclusivity, service, and academic excellence. Under the direction of the Director of Equal Opportunity and Compliance, the Compliance and Database Coordinator is a liaison for OEOC and internal and external constituents. These campus partners include the Offices of Student Conduct; Residence Life; Health, Wellness and Identity; Department of Public Safety; Counseling Center; Human Resources; Employee and Labor Relations, and Registrar’s Office, police departments, and Crime Victims Center and investigators. The Coordinator is responsible for administrative, logistical, and technical support for the intake and management of all reports related to sexual misconduct, harassment, and discrimination. This position is a highly confidential assignment requiring the utmost respect and privacy.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience working in higher education or community agency setting on incidents and issues of discrimination, harassment or sexual misconduct; experience partnering community agencies and resources; expertise with Title IX, Clery, VAWA, Campus SAVE and FERPA; and the ability to work with confidentiality, sensitivity, autonomy and discretion; and independent decision making.
