Job Announcement: Manager of Collective Activities, Philadelphia, PA | Full-Time | $55,000–$70,000 (commensurate with experience)
Ceiba, a Latino coalition-building organization in Philadelphia, is seeking a Manager of Collective Activities. That person will lead the strategic coordination of the Ceiba-Latino Equitable Development Collective (Ceiba-LEDC). This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven organization working to advance economic development, housing access, and financial inclusion in Eastern North Philadelphia.
About Ceiba: Ceiba promotes the economic development and financial inclusion of Philadelphia’s low-income communities through collaborations, advocacy, and access to asset-building services. As the backbone of the Ceiba-Collective, we are at the forefront of collective impact for nonprofits in the region.
Role Overview: The Manager of Collective Activities will guide cross-sector partnerships, facilitate community-led strategies, and drive systemic change through advocacy, data-driven planning, and inclusive engagement. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and bilingual communicator with deep experience in advocacy, public policy, collective impact, and community development. This is an in-person position with some remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy and coordination across Ceiba-Collective partner organizations
- Facilitate steering committee and working group meetings
- Maintain strong awareness of public policy matters affecting Eastern North Philadelphia
- Advance public policy advocacy aligned with community priorities
- Design and manage shared measurement systems
- Strengthen partnerships with residents, nonprofits, stakeholders, and policymakers
- Support grant writing and fundraising for collective initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or 5–7 years of relevant experience in community organizing, public policy, or nonprofit management
- Experience in collective impact, coalition building, and advocacy
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Strong facilitation, communication, and strategic planning skills
- Commitment to coalition building, civic engagement, and collective impact
- Familiarity with Philadelphia’s civic and policy landscape
