Sompo Foundation invites applications from organizations promoting education, health, and wellness

The mission of the Sompo Foundation is to impact positive and sustainable change in the areas of education, health, and wellness.

The foundation invites applications for its inaugural grant cycle and aims to uplift and invest in organizations that prioritize equitable access and resources, particularly for underserved populations. The foundation is particularly interested in learning from organizations with missions and programs that align with the following:

Education: Education at all stages of life is a cornerstone to opportunity. The foundation will consider organizations that foster learning for those who are underserved or underrepresented.

Health and Wellness: Disease Prevention is critical to a long and healthy life. The foundation will consider organizations that provide access to safe, clean, and healthy environments, options, and education. Mental Health plays an essential role in our quality of life and overall health and well-being. The foundation will consider partners that provide access to supportive systems, mental health resources, and awareness and prevention programs.

Award amounts will depend on project scope and impact, and grant requests should range from $10,000 to $100,000. Funds can be used for operating, administrative, and/or programmatic expenses, capital projects, and other related expenses.

To be eligible, applicants must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit or international equivalent, show proven success in programs aligned with priority areas, and operate in the Sompo Foundation geographic focus areas of Asia Pacific, Bermuda, Brazil, Europe, North America, or the United Kingdom.

For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Sompo Foundation website.
