Webinar: Top Legal Issues for Small Volunteer Organizations – Feb 12
Posted by PA Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) on February 11, 2025
Are you involved with a small nonprofit organization run by volunteers? If so, you are not alone (even though it may feel that way some days!).
About two-thirds of all charities registered with the IRS have gross revenue of less than $50,000 a year. They have little or no paid staff and rely on rotating groups of volunteers to run their programs and keep them out of trouble.
They include kids’ sports leagues, booster clubs and other school-related activities, advocacy and educational groups, artistic and cultural organizations, animal rescues, social clubs, community associations, religious groups, and many others. If you are involved with one of these organizations and want to stay small but stay legally safe, this program is for you.
Date and Time: Wednesday, February 12, 2025, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
