Zoom Event: Penn Policy Center’s Initial Reaction to the Governor’s Budget Address – Feb 4
Posted by Penn Policy Center on February 4, 2025
On Tuesday, February 4, Governor Josh Shapiro will deliver his 2025 Budget Address to a joint session of the General Session, outlining his priorities for the 2025-26 state budget. The Governor’s Office will stream it live on the Commonwealth website, and PCN TV is offering free live coverage online beginning at 11:00AM.
The Pennsylvania Policy Center team will be sharing online resources throughout the day and in the weeks ahead, and we are hosting a Rapid Response Roundtable on Gov. Shapiro’s Budget Address on Zoom at 3:00 PM on February 4, with Marc Stier & allies discussing their initial reactions to the proposed budget, particularly on crucial issues including education, social services, and raising wages, and highlighting the challenges that the Commonwealth will face if Trump & the Republican in Congress follow through on threats to slash federal funding to Pennsylvania.
Space is limited, so register NOW.
