Action Planning Overview: Why, How, Who, When, and Recognition – Aug 28
Posted by ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge on August 20, 2024
Creating and implementing a nonpartisan democratic engagement action plan is a proven strategy to increase and institutionalize nonpartisan democratic engagement. In this session, we will provide information about the action planning process, including partners and resources to support the development and implementation of your action plan, and the timeline for campuses to develop their 2024 action plans. We will offer an overview of programs such as the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge and Voter Friendly Campus initiative that support campus action planning and answer any questions about the process. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to interact directly with campus stakeholders who are deeply engaged in action planning. This will allow attendees to gain insights from firsthand experiences and benefit from expert guidance.
This session is valuable for all individuals (students, faculty, administrators, staff, community partners, etc.), regardless of their previous experience with action planning. It is also beneficial for community colleges participating in the Community College Concert Competition.
Date and Time: Wednesday, August 28, 2024, 4:00-5:00 PM
