El Centro Big Picture High School located at 3360 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134 is an intentionally small, accelerated school for young people ages 16–21 who had previously disconnected from school.
We are one of two schools in Philadelphia operated and managed by the nonprofit Big Picture Philadelphia (BPP). BPP uses the Big Picture Learning model—small classroom sizes, a whole-student approach, and real-world learning—to help students find and walk their pathway to success.
At El Centro, you’ll join an intimate community of learners and earn your high school diploma—all while starting on your career path.
Join us for an open house tour on July 24, 25, 31 or August 1. Open Houses are from 9:30-12:00pm and 1pm-3pm. During the open houses we will be conducting a building tour, providing light refreshments, and one-the-spot enrollment (if applicants bring supporting documents).
