Service-learning is an educational approach that combines meaningful service with learning, emphasizing reciprocal benefits for both the students and the community. When designed thoughtfully, service-learning aligns with and enhances civic education by active participation in community issues and solving real-world problems. Young people develop critical thinking skills essential for informed civic participation. Listen, share and learn about the intersection of service-learning and civic learning during this 45 minute session.
