Social Science Research Council invites applications for the Just Tech Fellowship
For 100 years, the Social Science Research Council has aimed to provide policy and philanthropic communities with access to the social and behavioral scientists who are working to innovate and evaluate scalable solutions to pressing societal problems.
The organization invites application for the Just Tech Fellowship. The two-year, full-time, remote fellowship supports researchers and practitioners investigating the intersection of technology and social justice. The fellowship supports and mobilizes diverse and cross-sector cohorts of practitioners to imagine and create more just, equitable, and representative technological futures. Fellows commit to identifying and challenging injustices emerging from new technologies and pursuing solutions that advance social, political, and economic rights.
Fellows will receive two-year awards of $100,000 annually, supplementary funding to subsidize additional expenses, and separate seed funding to collaborate with other Just Tech Fellows.
For complete program guidelines, application instructions, and information about previously awarded fellows, see the Social Science Research Council website.
Deadline: January 31, 2024
