Global Warming Mitigation Project invites applications for 2024 Keeling Curve Prize
The Global Warming Mitigation Project’s (GWMP) flagship program, the Keeling Curve Prize, awards $50,000 each to 10 global projects annually that demonstrate the ability to reduce, replace, or remove greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and oceans. Since 2018, GWMP has awarded $1.75 million to 60 nonprofits, for-profits, and startups; vetted more than 1,130 viable solutions; and grown one of the largest networks of global warming mitigators in the world.
Prize categories include carbon sinks, energy, finance, transport and mobility, and social and cultural pathways. All applicants—whether or not they win the prize—can access GWMP’s interconnected programs that equip climate organizations with staffing support and a supportive ecosystem of global partners for year-round visibility, relationship building, and growth.
Applications are accepted from anywhere in the world, regardless of size.
For more information, including profiles of past winners of the prize and an FAQ, see the Keeling Curve Prize website.
Deadline: February 12, 2024
