Instructional Rounds at Kensington High School for the Creative & Performing Arts – Dec 1
Posted by Philadelphia Education Fund on November 7, 2023
The Philadelphia Education Fund is pleased to invite you to Instructional Rounds at Kensington High School for the Creative & Performing Arts on Friday, December 1, 2023, 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Instructional Rounds convenes high school and college educators with the aim of bridging the gaps between secondary and postsecondary instruction. Informed by non-evaluative classroom visits, educators work through refinements to their practice that support the alignment between the teaching and learning that happens across high school and college.
2023-2024 Focus Area: How can educators facilitate productive student-focused interactions that engage and assist students of all levels of academic preparedness?
Logistics: Breakfast and lunch will be provided. KCAPA is located at 1901 N Front St, Philadelphia, PA 19122. For those driving, free parking is available in the school lots.
Registration: To join us, please register here by December 1st. Due to the nature of the event, space is limited! We need to cap the number of visitors to each classroom to maintain the authenticity of the teaching and learning we are peering into. While high school educators are still welcome to register, college educators will be given preference for this Instructional Rounds event to facilitate “across the aisle” observation. High school educators will be given preference when we hold Instructional Rounds at La Salle University in the winter.
