From executive producer LeVar Burton, The Right to Read shares the stories of an NAACP activist, a teacher, and two American families who fight to provide our youngest generation with the most foundational indicator of life-long success: the ability to read. You are invited to a private viewing of “The Right to Read” film put together by a coalition of partners including Read by 4th, School District of Philadelphia, Read 2 Succeed, Center for Black Educator Development, Reading Allowed, and the Fund for the School District of Philadelphia.
